Well, the United Nanny States of Amerika is at it again, it seems.
This time the Feds want to investigate inhalable coffee which completely offends my sense of justice and threatens to strip away my inalienable rights as a natural born, caffeinated citizen!!!
OK, so I’ve never actually tried inhalable coffee and, to be honest, I hadn’t even heard of it until today but still, as a devout Libertarian, I have to ask:
WHO THE HELL ARE THEY TO TELL ME I CAN’T INHALE THINGS THAT GOD HIMSELF OBVIOUSLY INTENDED ME TO INHALE?????
Ugh.
It’s bad enough that I live in Mormonville, surrounded by a bunch of fanatical decaffeinated cultists (who I suspect water down my lattes at Starbucks and have probably already banned inhalable coffee which is why I’ve never heard of it until now!).
Believe me, it won’t be long before they ban drinking (and mainlining) liquid coffee here in Idaho, and if the Feds have their way, nationwide.
Commie bastards!
That’s OK, though, I’ll just find other ways to get my fix:
Ohhhh Yeeeaaahhhh.
Oh, shit…. I think the Gestapo missionaries are at the door….
Shhhh!!!!!

It sounds like you need an intervention. Put the straw down and walk away slowly….

Why, so YOU can snort my coffee? Ha I think not. Nice try, though.

A world without coffee would be a very ugly place.
February 20, 2012 at 2:10 pm
Just thinking about it makes me cry…

I read about the inhalable coffee. It sounds..gross. And yet, very convenient if you don’t have time to drink a cup of the delicious goodness like God intended.

I would think it would dry out your throat which would make you need to drink coffee to remedy the dryness. So really, a win-win I think.

I once reverse snorted coke (The black fizzy liquid not the white powder), when I tried to stop myself from spitting it out, after someone made me laugh, just as I took a big swig from the can. I’m pretty sure it’s legal to do but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it….
February 20, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Oooh my nose is burning just thinking of it! And not in a good way…

I could give a shit what the Feds say. I’ll snort dirt if they ban it just to spite em.
February 20, 2012 at 2:12 pm
That’s the spirit! You are a true American.

Dude, are you in Boise? One of my BFF’s lives in Boise and constantly complains about the Mormons there. Her ex-husband left her for Mormon — funny considering he always said how much he hated them. She refers to her as the Latter Day Slut. LMAO
I am allergic to coffee, but apparently this inhaled shit is the bomb — according to my highly addicted friends. I’m in SoCal so nothing really gets banned here.

I am near Idaho Falls but the Mormons have infiltrated most of the state. I moved here from Cali (shh! don’t tell my neighbors!) and only stay to be a thorn in their side.

I would shrivel up and die without my coffee. But I don’t think I could ever try that inhalable kind!
February 20, 2012 at 2:15 pm
Some days coffee is the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning! OK, most days haha.

I promise you two things. First, that I will someday borrow the phrase “gestapo missionaries” from you. And two, I will TRY to remember to give you credit. The bastards.
February 20, 2012 at 9:35 pm
Ummm you mean —-> © gestapo missionaries ???
There! Now you HAVE to remember to give me credit or my Jewish lawyer, Bernie, will happily remind you.

You mean I would have to be happy at work? I would have to naturally do number 2′s?
The economy runs on coffee, there is no way they would want to harm that. In Australia we have a good public health system, and that is payed mostly by smokers and drinkers tax.
Swings and roundabouts.

I live in Illinois and have never heard of this either. Although, it does have me curious. I will have to look into it. Don’t know if I would like snorting things up my nose, but I am willing to try it.
